Develop #01: Rediscovering Me

DEVELOP events are workshop-type events where you are able to sharpen your soft skills. This workshop used Lumina Spark, a colourful tool that measures personality and helped us to see clearly HOW we respond to other people’s behaviour and to understand WHY we respond in that way. This workshop showed how Spark provided a working map to help us work with others effectively, paving the way to better relationships and improved results. By experiencing this workshop, we hoped that the audience rediscovered their true self and their peers.

Highlight #02 with Dr. Hendri Saparini

HIGHLIGHT events feature outstanding and noteworthy women who are subject matter experts or industry/sector specialists. We are collaborating with PPI Oxford in this second HIGHLIGHT event, to feature Dr. Hendri Saparini, President Commisioner of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, who will talk about women and youth empowerment, as well as what it is like for women to work in telecommunications. Come along for a chance to hear it first hand from the expert!
Celebrate #01: International Women's Day

CELEBRATE events are events which take place to celebrate a particular day, and on this occasion we celebrated International Women's Day. We were joined by Hana Satriyo, who is an expert on Indonesia's decentralisation, gender and democracy, to reflect on the progress of women in the wider social economic, cultural, and political spheres. Moreover, this was a chance to meet new people, network, discuss, and have some cakes!

The theme for this first HIGHLIGHT event was Education in Indonesia: How does it shape our perception towards gender roles? This event aimed to increase the awareness and promote a dialogue on how the Indonesian education curriculum affects our understanding about gender equality and the challenges our society is facing.
